4th Engineering Majors Fair

 

The Schools of Engineering are getting together in one single place so you can learn more about the different engineering majors at Purdue before making your final decision.

 

Come and meet one-on-one with representatives from each engineering discipline and other programs. Learn about courses, career options, and other opportunities.

 

Day: Thursday, February 1st.

Time: 5:45-6:45pm.

College of Engineering Ambassadors

 

Ambassador Applications due January 28!


The COE Ambassadors are a dynamic, charismatic, and knowledgeable group of engineering students representing all majors as the face of the College of Engineering. Ambassadors have the opportunity to work with College of Engineering leaders, network with Purdue Engineering Alumni, interact with Industry professionals, and develop leadership skills. Opportunities include:

  • Attend Purdue Football games in the Engineering Suite
  • Network and represent the College at alumni and industry dinners
  • Connect with College of Engineering Advisory Boards and College leadership
  • Professional and Leadership Development
  • And more! 

 

Requirements: Ambassadors are expected to attend and participate in ENGR 40600 on Tuesdays 6:00-6:50pm and participate in events each semester. Must be currently enrolled in the College of Engineering, have a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher, have completed First-Year Engineering by Fall 2024, and at least 2 semesters remaining before graduation.  

 

New Ambassadors will participate in COE Ambassador training in the latter half of Spring 2024, in preparation for Fall 2024 Ambassador Events.


Submit your application today! Applications are due January 28, 2024 and interviews will take place the week of February 12th.

The Semiconductor Student Alliance - Purdue Chapter (SSA) founded to educate all students of all majors about semiconductors and bridge the gap between students and the many opportunities within the semiconductor field. Learn more from Intel representatives about recent developments in the semiconductor industry and meet the executive team for SSA! Open to all majors!

Master of Business and Technology Launch Event

Purdue University’s Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business is launching a cutting-edge new program for engineers, the Master of Business and Technology (MBT). Dean Jim Bullard (Daniels Business School) and Dean Arvind Raman (College of Engineering) will introduce the Master of Business and Technology. You’ll be able to network with program faculty, staff and interested students. Attendees will receive an application fee waiver eligible only for fall 2024 applications.

Purdue Student Engineering Foundation (PSEF) Applications Open

 

The Purdue Student Engineering Foundation (PSEF) is now accepting applications for the Spring 2024 cycle from freshmen and sophomore engineering students. PSEF is one of Purdue’s largest engineering organizations and is dedicated to promoting engineering amongst youth, prospective students, Purdue alumni, and the community. We recruit prospective students through engineering information sessions, academic panels, and most importantly, engineering facilities tours. SWE Spring Blood Drive

 

Purdue SWE is proud to partner with the American Red Cross for PSWE's first ever blood Drive on February 23rd, 2024 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, in the Krach Leadership Center Lobby.

 

There are many ways you can help out with this event, but most importantly, you can donate blood and grab some free snacks! Each pint of blood we collect at this blood drive can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. SWE Mentorship Program Sign-ups

 

SWE mentorship is an amazing way to engage with Purdue SWE, develop skills, and learn from one and other. SWE mentorship programs offer a coffee-date reimbursement, mentorship banquet, and much more! Semester Pairs - sign-up link for both mentors and mentees

This program pairs underclassmen with upperclassmen for mentorship. Pairs are expected to meet twice a month for the semester.

 

Undergrad and Grad Student Pairs - sign-up link for mentee undergrad students

Mentees will be paired with Purdue grad students to learn about grad life! This is a !!!brand-new!!!! mentorship program we are excited to introduce for you to more confidently decide your post-graduation steps. Pairs are expected to meet twice a month for the semester.
