Important Information for Scholarships Are you looking for a scholarship or you currently receive a scholarship from the College of Engineering? Then you’ll want to know that the U.S.
Department of Education has revamped the FAFSA form making it less complicated to complete. The new FAFSA is available online now at
https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. Submitting the form online is the quickest way to get your information to Purdue.
Many of the scholarships offered by the College of Engineering are considered “need based” which means that you must report your family income or
your personal income if emancipated through the FAFSA form and make sure it’s on file at Purdue to be considered. Even if you don’t think that you or your family meet the threshold for need based assistance, it is good practice to complete a FAFSA if you’re
seeking a scholarship. The College of Engineering considers all students who are enrolled in the College for scholarships without the need for an application. Individual
schools may also have scholarships to offer to specific majors. You will need to check your school’s website for more information or ask your Academic Advisor if there are scholarships available! If you have questions about scholarships, please email
engrscholarships@purdue.edu. |
