College of Engineering Ambassadors Call Outs and Application
Deadline
Come learn more about the College of Engineering Ambassadors! Call Outs on Tuesday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 29th at 6pm in LMBS 5237. Applications
due February 7!
Requirements: Ambassadors are expected to attend and participate in ENGR 40600 on Tuesdays 6:00-6:50pm and participate in events each semester.
Must be currently enrolled in the College of Engineering, have a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher, have completed First-Year Engineering by Fall 2025, and at least 2 semesters remaining before graduation.
New Ambassadors will participate in COE Ambassador training
in the latter half of Spring 2025, in preparation for Fall 2025 Ambassador Events.

Student Managed Venture Fund Callouts January 21 and 23 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm KRAN G018 SMVF is a new student organization for students interested in venture capital and investing. The club aims to provide a platform for students to learn about and be immersed in the field of venture capital.
The raising and allocation of capital, industry resemblant analyst work, guest speakers from within the field, collegiate competitions, and visits to VC firms will give students an introduction to the world of venture capital and a chance to make connections

with company representatives, career fairs, hosting prospective high school seniors, teaching elementary school kids about STEM, building and racing karts in the annual Purdue Grand Prix, and creating mentorship pairs between members. Saturday, January 25 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm ARMS Atrium The Women in Engineering (WE) Gala event celebrates the achievements and community of Women Engineers at Purdue, and is the kickoff event for the 2025 WE Week. The Gala is themed ‘The Future is Female:
Glamour and Glitter’, taking inspiration from the dazzling era of the Roaring 20’s. Agenda for this event includes keynote speakers, a fashion show, and dancing.
The WE Gala will occur on Saturday, January 25th, from 7-9 PM. Recommended dress code for this event is semi-formal to formal wear, but this is not required to attend. We highly encourage students to
bring existing clothes back to campus after winter break. Attendees must RSVP by January 21st to attend the event, which can be found at bit.ly/wesogala2025. |

Wellbeing Support on Campus Greetings from the CARES Hub! As we gear up for another great semester at the College of Engineering, our commitment to your wellness is a top priority. We want to remind you of the many campus resources
available to you in your pursuit of well-being. Purdue’s CARES Hub offers a space for engineering students to come and study, play games, each lunch, and connect with other engineers. Visit the space in ARMS 1261. Purdue’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers three different workshops throughout the semester. You do not need to be a client; you can register online and attend. The workshops include
the Art of Self-Care, Anxiety Toolbox, and Wellness and Resilience. Check out more details
