The Amelia Earhart Summit is a full-day conference designed to provide Purdue students with insights into the aerospace community through engaging sessions, panels, workshops, and interactive activities. Traditionally focused on encouraging women's presence in the field, this year's AES has an exciting twist. We are broadening our scope to welcome everyone in the Purdue community, aiming to “Educate, Inspire, and Empower” individuals interested in aerospace engineering.

RISE: Robotics and Intelligent Systems Expo

March 30 2024

9:00 am – 5:00 pm

STEW (2nd floor)

RISE, Purdue’s largest ever AI and Robotics event, is NEXT WEEK! If you want to interact with androids, robot dogs, self-driving cars, battle-bots, and experts in the field from around the world (Unitree, UMich, TexasA&M, WashU), then don’t miss out on this once-in-a-year opportunity!

In addition to the esteemed panelists, cutting-edge demonstrations, and exclusive presentations, you will get the chance to meet Purdue dignitaries including Dean Arvind Raman and Exec VP Dr. Karen Plaut, enjoy free lunch, network with research labs, and learn about the most groundbreaking field of the decade.

We would like to thank our sponsors RAD Lab, Unitree, and Purdue Departments of CS, ME, IE, and ECE, as RISE wouldn’t be possible without them.

Join us on March 30th at the Stewart Center to RISE into the world of AI and Robotics!

Silver Wings Resume and Interview Workshop

April 10, 2024

7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Armory 102

Students will attend in business casual. If they already have a resume, it should be brought in. If not, the student will be instructed on how to write a resume. Mock interviews will be taking place to provide individuals with an idea how to conduct themselves professionally.

WorldHealth Purdue - Glow Run/Walk 5k

April 5, 2024

8:00 pm – 10:30 pm

WorldHealth Purdue is excited to extend an invitation for you to join us for our Glow Run 5k for charity!

WorldHealth Purdue strives to advocate for disparities while incorporating an interdisciplinary approach that empowers all students, across all majors, to tackle today’s most pressing health challenges.

Our Glow Run 5K for charity is not just about having a race…it's about bringing our Purdue campus community together in hopes of making a positive impact. As an event that is aimed towards promoting health and wellness, proceeds will go towards the Lafayette Transitional Housing Center. This event is open to everyone — so feel free to bring your friends and family members.

This year, we will have raffles and prizes for all registered participants (and those who have more referrals get extra entries). We will also have medals for those who place. More details about this all can be found on our website:  https://worldhealthpurdue.wixsite.com/worldhealth-purdue-g

General Race Details:

* 5k Date: Friday, April 05th — 8:00 pm

* Start/Finish Line: University and Stadium Purdue Arc

* What’s included in the registration ticket? >> Water and snacks at the finish line, glow gear, and a glow run race t-shirt (while supplies last)

Registration instructions can be found in the attached flyer. If you have any questions, please email our club president: dmoones@purdue.edu.

Thank you! We hope to see you there!
