Purdue College of Engineering Fall 2023 Wrapped The individual success stories in the College of Engineering are too numerous to count but we’ve compiled a few of the greatest hits of the Fall
‘23 semester to celebrate Boilermaker Engineers. The hottest day of the semester (94°) was Aug 24th but that was no comparison to the fiery win of the Old Oaken Bucket on Nov 25th when Purdue beat IU (35-31) in Ross-Ade. College of Engineering set the tone
for a great semester by welcoming a record percentage (34.5%) of women students to the Fall ’23 FYE program. From the first day of classes on Aug 21st to the last day of finals on Dec 16th, you could find success in every building of the COE. Have a look
at the highlight reel: Seven graduating seniors selected
as Purdue Engineering Fellows, to receive $20K Seniors in ChE, ECE, EEE, ME, MSE and NE were among the fifth class of fellows, announced Sept. 11. Purdue Engineering Student Council runs
43rd annual Industrial Roundtable More than 15,000 students flooded Purdue’s Memorial Mall Sept. 12-13 to explore professional opportunities during the annual Industrial Roundtable. College continues to lead the way in engineering
education The ASEE 2022 Report ranked Purdue No. 2 in the nation for highest number of engineering bachelor’s degrees earned (2,674), up four spots from 2018. Purdue Society of Women Engineers "live without
limits" at national conference In October, PSWE organized and supported 44 undergraduate students to attend the Society of Women Engineers flagship event, WE23, in Los Angeles,
California. Purdue Engineering Presidents’ Council (PEPC) awarded $12,600 in funding during the 2023 fall semester to assist College of Engineering student organizations. With another successful semester in the books, it’s now time to relax and recharge over winter break. Spring ’24 will be another opportunity for
Boilermaker Engineers to innovate, learn and inspire. |
