Hello EMBRIO Members,

In honor of Indigenous People’s Day and Hispanic Heritage Month, we will not meet October 10^th for our Weekly Update. We will return October 17^th with the Kinzer-Ursem Lab presenting, followed by break out room topics (please send me topics you want to discuss!).

We want to call your attention to the internal request for proposals for leadership positions to expand diversity, equity, inclusion, and broadening participation activity for the Institute. Details on the RFP (due by Oct. 24) were emailed to investigators last Wednesday. The RFP is available on our Box account. Please contact Brent (laddb@purdue.edu ) if you are interested in submitting a proposal.

A reminder that Soumi Mukherjee in Stephanie Gardner’s lab is conducting interviews with everyone in the Institute as part of the overall evaluation for EMBRIO. If you haven’t yet had a chance, please complete the

online schedule with her soon. All interviews and their content will be confidential.
