Dear All EMBRIO Members,

Following an extensive collaboration with data management experts and multiple current NSF funded research centers, a draft data sharing plan was developed specifically for EMBRIO Institute. Following an open comment period for the membership (Dec. 8th, 2023 - January 18th, 2024), and in the spirit of promoting standards that ensure data quality, security, privacy, and ethics, EMBRIO Institute has officially adopted a Data Sharing Policy (available online) that will guide the ownership, sharing, and use of data generated by EMBRIO research projects.

In order to continue in good standing and be eligible for future financial support, members of EMBRIO who receive funding through the Institute (primarily, NSF Award #2120200) and/or work on projects supported by the EMBRIO Institute agree to abide by the Data Sharing Policy (available online).

Associated signatures with the policy will be kept on a password protected, dual authenticated secure server at Purdue University.
