The online application for the 2024 Hertz Fellowship is now open through Friday, October 27. If you know an innovative young scientist, engineer or mathematician with leadership skills and exceptional creativity, then you can help us identify the next Hertz Fellowship recipients.  What is the Hertz Fellowship? The Hertz Fellowship empowers the nation’s most promising doctoral students in science and technology to pursue research that best advances our nation’s security and economic vitality. Hertz Fellows receive up to five years of funding, offering flexibility from the traditional constraints of graduate training and the independence needed to innovate. In addition to receiving financial support, Hertz Fellows join a multigenerational, intellectual community of peers, providing a unique engine for professional development and collaboration. (Eligible applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents.) How can prospective applicants learn more about the Hertz Fellowship?
