Hello All, On behalf of myself and the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), I would like to cordially invite you to the 2022 Purdue Chemical Engineering Graduate Research Symposium! Symposium will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. The symposium consists of three main events: Keynote Address: This year's keynote speaker is Gautam Kumar, Ph.D.. Dr. Kumar is a Purdue alumnus, earning his Ph.D. in 2007 advised by Professor Steve Beaudoin, and he is currently a Director and General Manager in the Global Supply Chain Organization of Intel Corporation. His keynote address will take place in G140 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Student Seminar Presentations: Senior Ph.D. students will be giving twenty-minute seminar presentations about their independent research. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about the great research of your peers and our department. These talks will be given in the morning from 9:30 am to 12:05 pm and in the afternoon from 2:25 pm to 5:00 pm. Poster Pitch Showcase: The Poster Pitch Showcase will take place in the atrium from 12:55 pm to 2:25 pm. We encourage you to join us for lunch beforehand and please feel free to walk around and interact with posters that catch your attention. A few group posters will also be presented providing more generalized information on group specific work being conducted in the department. Please be on the lookout for an email with finalized schedules and further information the week before symposium.
