Please find attached the nomination form, award description and details on eligibility and selection criteria. Nomination Process: Any ChE faculty member, staff, graduate or undergraduate student performing research can nominate any eligible ChE graduate student. A nominator can support only one candidate. Please submit your nominations to Gabriela Nagy at nagyg@purdue.edu<mailto:nagyg@purdue.edu>, by 5 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Nominations should not exceed 250 words and should include specific examples. Due Date for nominations: April 30, 2020, with the award to be presented virtually in May, or at a later date(TBD) during a formal recognition event organized by the School. Selection: The selection will be made by the ChE Excellence in Safety Award Committee, and communicated to all School employees and students. I am sorry that the deadline for submission of nominations is so close, but I hope you will find the time to nominate graduate students for this award; the nomination process is not very time consuming, as it only requires a short nomination statement of up to 250 words, with examples, and no support letters from anyone else.
