Good Afternoon! As your United Way Ambassador this year, it's my pleasure to share with you that the 2016 United Way campaign officially kicks-off on September 1st! All Purdue employees will receive an email solicitation on Thursday, September 1, as part of the Purdue United Way campaign kickoff. This email will explain how you can make your pledge via the ePledge website. There will not be any paper pledge packets. Articles in Purdue Today and HR Connect will run this week and will cover ePledge and campaign information. Please consider supporting some University-wide events that are coming in September: * Splash or Cash Challenge Event - Sept. 16: This is essentially the Purdue fountain run version of the Ice Bucket Challenge * Dine to Donate $1 - Sept. 19-30: Purdue Dining retail locations where visitors will be asked to donate a $1 to United Way at food checkout The College of Engineering will also be hosting some events in the coming weeks.....details forthcoming!
