Hi everyone, 

Chemical Engineers for Safety Seminars (ChESS) is hosting a seminar on lab safety next Thursday, October 17 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm in FRNY 3059. Please note that this seminar can be counted as one graduate seminar credit and pizza and water/soda will be provided.

The presenter is Mr. Wesley White, MS, from Evonik Tippecanoe Labs and the title is "Hazards in the Lab are Present, Persistent, and Powerful! Is Your Safety Culture?”. During this interactive session the speaker will be sharing observations about lab safety in the chemical industry and we’ll compare and contrast safety culture challenges between academic and industrial labs.
