Subject: GSO Sponsored Highway Clean Up
Hello Everyone,
The GSO has sponsored a portion of Highway 231 in West Lafayette with the Adopt-a-Highway Program in an effort to minimize trash along our communities roadways. Four times a year volunteers from
our department will meet at the Meijer in West Lafayette on a weekend morning to clean the mile and a half section of road. All supplies are provided by the Indiana Department of Transportation and GSO will have doughnuts and coffee for all volunteers. We
are more than happy to invite all graduate students as well as their significant others, families, roommates, and friends, as long as they are over the age of 15. If you do not have a car but would still like to participate you can still sign up and we will
set up a carpool.
If you are interested in getting involved with this community service project please add your information to the attached google doc as well as your date preferences for this years first cleanup
by Wednesday July 5th.
