Dear Faculty and Staff,
This Wednesday, April 24, Purdue Day of Giving takes place. For 24 hours the entire Purdue Community has the
opportunity to make a gift to make a difference. We are all committed to provide an education at the highest proven value.
We will have activities in Robert T. Henson Atrium beginning with the
AIChE Pancake Breakfast from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Come out to see a 3D Printer taking pancakes to a whole new level!
Later that day, we will unveil a video of beloved professors, Dr. Robert E. Hanneman, M.D. and Dr. R. Neal Houze who are celebrating a combined 100 years of service to Purdue University in 2019!
Join us at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 in the Atrium to honor Dr. Hanneman and Dr. Houze. Refreshments will be served. Check out the promo video
here.
I hope you will help the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering take our next Giant Leap and consider a contribution (minimum gift of $10). With 100% participation we should be one of the top 10 units
with the greatest number of gifts and win a share of bonus funds. And please invite your Purdue friends to share in the day as well. Show your Purdue pride!
Staff can wear jeans for their donation of $10 or more. You can give online through the web-portal or by contacting Osra DeLong with a check or cash. We can even take cash/check gifts as early as today if that is your preference. Other
challenges are listed here for your review. Want to be reminded to make a gift? Sign up here
Davidson School of Chemical Engineering for Purdue Day of Giving!
Lastly, the development office has secured Purdue Day of Giving t-shirts to thank you for all you have done to give back as a member of the CHE community (no gift necessary to receive). Please
let us know if you will not be around so we can save a shirt for you by emailing Osra Delong at
OCDelong@prf.org .
Thank you so much and Boiler up!
