Dear Colleagues,

A reminder about Dr. Kristi Anseth’s remarks at 3:30 pm in FRNY B124 today, followed by a reception in her honor at 4:15 pm in the Henson Atrium.   Following the reception, she will meet with the Future Faculty group in FRNY B124.

Dr. Anseth is among most distinguished chemical engineers today.  She has received numerous recognitions for her research and teaching, including membership in both the NAE and the Institute of Medicine (IOM) of the National Academies by the age of 40 years – the youngest person to be elected to both academies.  She is also a member of our School’s Academic Advisory Board.

To welcome her back warmly to our School as she receives two Purdue honors today (DEA – Distinguished Engineering Alumni award, and OChE – Outstanding Chemical Engineer award), I request your attendance at her 3:30 pm remarks and the 4:15 pm reception.

Best,

Arvind Varma
