Hello ChE Grad Students,

Just a quick note to remind you that we don’t have any seminars scheduled for February, and grad students are not expected attend the faculty candidate talks, unless specifically asked to do so by Dr. Varma or their advisors. So you are “off” from Seminar until March 4^th (speaker to be announced later).

I’ve attached the Seminar schedule (please make a note of all dates in your calendar), and the Seminar Absence form (to be turned in if you want to substitute an outside Seminar for our Seminar). I’ve also copied Nela (my student worker) who maintains the Seminar attendance spreadsheet. Please make an note of her e-mail, and please be sure e-mail her if you are going to be absent, and she’ll update the spreadsheet accordingly. Thank you.
