Dear Colleagues,

The seminar of faculty candidate Dr. Shrayesh Patel is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 9-10:30 am in FRNY 3059.  He received his PhD from UC-Berkeley in 2013 and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at UC-Santa Barbara - his CV is attached fyi. 

This is not a required seminar for graduate students.  As always, however, I particularly encourage all those who are interested in an academic career to attend, for an opportunity to see how such seminars are presented and how the Q&A goes.
