Today begins the Purdue's United Way campaign’s Live United Week.
* Today (Sept. 21) -- Participants are asked to spread the word about the United Way mission in their area on campus by hanging up "What a dollar a week can do" posters. The poster
can be downloaded

* Tuesday (Sept. 22) -- "Zumbathon at the Co-Rec": The event will take place at 6:30-8 p.m. at the
Córdova Recreational Sports Center
in the Feature Gym. All proceeds go to the Purdue United Way Campaign.
* Wednesday (Sept. 23) -- United Way Agency Tour: Two 30-minute tours of the
Lafayette Transitional Housing Center
will be conducted for participants to learn about the housing center’s mission. Tour times are 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Transportation to and from Purdue is not provided; however,
parking is available on site at the agency’s facility. To sign up, visit

Purdue's United Way campaign begins Live United Week today
September 21, 2015
Purdue's United Way campaign is hosting Live United Week today through Friday (Sept. 21-25) to give faculty, staff and students a chance
to get involved in this year's campaign.
Live United Week will have activities and special events, including a new initiative with
Purdue Dining & Catering. Students, faculty, staff and guests at 18 participating retail dining locations across campus can participate by donating a $1 or more to the campaign. All payment methods will
be accepted.
Interested individuals can get involved during the week at the daily activities on and around campus. The events are:

Good afternoon everyone,
As you saw in the
PurdueToday email Purdue's 2015 United Way campaign started Sept. 10 with the goal of raising $760,000 for local human services agencies.
This year's Purdue campaign theme is called "Windows of Opportunity" and goal is about 15 percent of the United Way of Greater Lafayette Campaign's goal, which is $5 million.
As your team captain for the United Way campaign, I’m passing
on more information best explained in this
video.
Pledge cards will be distributed to you this week. Please return your envelopes
with your name on the outside
to me in the Business Office new location FRNY 1057.
* Those who give at least $20 more than last year to United Way will receive a special ticket price for the Sept. 26 home football game
against Bowling Green. Pledges must be received by Sept. 17.
* Those who give at least $20 more than last year will receive a buy-one-get-one-free offer for Mark Morris Dance Group's "Dido and Aeneas"
through Purdue Convocations. The promotion is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 500.
* Every new gift or increase of $100 will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to a grant from Eli Lilly Endowment.
* Vanguard donors who increase their gift will receive Shively Outdoor Club tickets for $100 each or Buchanan Indoor Club tickets, which
includes premium food, for $150 each. Pledges must be received by Sept. 17.
