The noise and vibrations that you have noticed in our building is due to the construction project occurring in the Armory parking lot where the new STEM building will be located. They started yesterday with pile driving the iron beams into the ground and will continue until all beams are set. Unfortunately I did not receive an answer to how long that might last, but was told only the obvious - until they are done. On the positive side (?),  imagine what Schleman, Nursing, and Hovde are dealing with sitting right next to the work area.
