Focused Excursion 25-2: Maintaining the Gap

Request for Solutions

Submission Deadline:

January 13, 2025  10:00 AM CT

Does your organization have expertise in gap crossing technology?

ERDCWERX invites solutions that seek industry knowledge and expertise to inform science and technology (S&T) that can be shaped for future production in support of the Army of 2040. Submissions of interest, based on current capabilities and potential future advancements, may result in an invitation to participate in demonstrations at the ERDC facility in Vicksburg, MS, in March 2025.

The primary objective of this tech challenge is to identify leading industry representatives with gap crossing capabilities to include establishment and sustainment of critical maneuver corridors.

Technology expertise can span a wide range of topics including, but not limited to:

  • Bridging
  • Innovative engineering of materials and processes
  • Transportation (e.g., overbridging, rapid bridge/road repair capabilities, rail, piers)
  • Medical sustainment (water, sewage, site contamination)
  • Structures (e.g., field hospitals)
  • Power and energy solutions

This project supports the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. For details and to submit, visit www.erdcwerx.org/focused-excursion-25-2-maintaining-the-gap/.
