We will box the books and do the heavy lifting Due to the complex logistics of running a book-drive, we often run late. Please be patient with us, we do appreciate your donation. We accept all books in good condition. We don’t accept journals, periodicals, custom course manuals, magazines or encyclopedia sets. We don't throw any books away. Ever. We raise money for non-profit organizations through the sale of a small percentage of the books. Many books will be sent to Africa through the "Good Books for Africa," program run by Human Service Resources Inc<http://cts.vresp.com/c/?Books4cause/35be19e7c5/db8c85eca6/1d1eb308d3> (HSRI). To date HSRI has sent more than 300,000 books to Africa. The remainder of the books will be pulped and repurposed, keeping them out of landfills and creating a positive net gain, environmentally.
