Hi everyone, Three quick notes. First the machine room in Civil that houses several ChE servers will have the A/C system maintenance performed on Tuesday 11/22 from 6:30 to 8:30am. While Atom and the print server VPS4 will remain on, the following servers will be down during that time: catalyst, faucet, tipstream, gibbs0, gibbs1, gibbs2, mx05, ion and molecule. Also I believe I misplaced my notebook (a blue 'steno' pad) last Thursday. I don't think my name is on it anywhere however it does mostly have things written down that are computer related such as computer names, programs, etc. If you have found it or happen to see it sitting in your area please let me know and I will come pick it up! Lastly this past week I made a slight change to the way the 'mail alias' lists works and all mail sent to chme, chefaculty, chmegrad, etc now goes through ECN's 'mailman' server which means it goes through an additional level of spam processing. Hopefully some of you have noticed a bit less 'spam' showing up in your inbox. Now only people sending mail from a purdue.edu or a @gmail.com address (the most popular non @purdue address people use) will have their mail sent on automatically when sending mail to the mail alias addresses, all others will be delayed. If you have a email account that is not a purdue.edu (including ecn.purdue.edu) or gmail.com address and you wish to send mail to any of the mail alias lists please sent a note to cheq@ecn.purdue.edu and request that the address be added to the 'white list' so messages won't be held for moderation.
