Jeff informed me that the sidewalks by the Physics building have been painted today and this may be another source of the odor, the air handlers are drawing it into the building. I have heard some sensors are going into alarm in some labs which is probably related directly to this odor. It will dissipate but not for a while. Since it is late in the day and will be after business hours shortly, if you have concerns later tonight please call the Purdue police business # 48221 and report the problem and they will send personnel to investigate.
