To All,
As Dr. Varma’s message indicates, I was in error with my original email reminding the faculty of the policy in place for space assignments within the building- my apologies. If you have any questions, please contact me or as stated below, refer to the attachments outlining the School’s policy. Thank you.

Jeff,
A clarification - Jim C assigns offices only for grad students and postdocs - I do for faculty and staff. I assign all lab space as well.
Attached are 2 documents re our School’s Space policy, issued in 8-09 – one distributed then to the whole School and the other detailing the Internal Procedures. I suggest that, so that folks are not confused, you may want to follow up with another message to chme and chmegrad, reminding all of the School’s Space Policy, by attaching my 8-09 document.
Thanks,
Arvind Varma

To All -
Just a reminder that policy is all requests for office space assignments are to be sent to Prof. Jim Caruthers
for approval before keys will be issued.
New lab space assignment requests are to be sent to Dr. Varma and I must have an email from him before keys will be issued.
Thank you.
