Subject: SCD-iBIO to honor Professor George Tsao in Philadelphia

Dear Arvind:

I called Karen a few minutes ago and she said you would return later today.  I wanted to alert you that Professor Tsao will be honored as a IBio Visionary at their Second International Forum: Commercializing Global Green - Markets from a Value Chain Perspective organized by SCD-iBIO and being held in Philadelphia, PA, at the Chemical Heritage Foundation from November 11-13, 2013.  The Keynote Address for the evening of November 12 will be delivered by Dr. Marcel Lubben, VP Bio-based Chemicals and Materials Unit of DSM headquartered in Delft, The Netherlands.  Dr. Tsao will be honored for the contributions that he had made to industrial biotechnology through LORRE and the Chemical Engineering Department. The previous honoree (last year) was Professor Arthur Humphrey.
