Hello everyone,

I have scheduled 2 safety awareness training sessions for the following dates:

                Monday, May 20, from 2-3 pm in FRNY G124

                Wednesday, May 22, from 9-10 am in FRNY G060A

All new employees and researchers need to have initial safety training. If you have new people joining your groups for research, they will need safety training before they can start working (e.g. visitors, SURF students, exchange students, post-docs, etc.). Please ask them to attend any of these sessions. Most of our undergraduate students already have the initial training, and would need to take the online refresher. Students from other departments or universities doing research in our labs, will need this initial training.

I attach the document that shows the safety requirements for our ChE undergraduate students doing research in FRNY; it is useful to share this information with ChE students doing research over the summer as part of the SURF program, which starts on Monday (5/20/2019).
