Hello Everyone,

I am glad to announce that at the ChE Safety Committee’s recommendation, Dr. Corti appointed the following graduate students to serve on the ChE Safety Committee for the next two years. Their appointment started on June 1, 2023:

1. Agarwal, Shubhanshu (advised by Dr. Agrawal)
2. Akturk, Ilke (advised by Dr. Z. Nagy)
3. Bekele, Bereket (advised by Dr. Gounder)
4. Choi, Austin (advised by Dr. Pol)
5. Perez Schuster, Gabriel (advised by Dr. Wang)

At the same time, on behalf of the ChE Safety Committee, I would like to thank Daniel Gribble, Apurva Pradhan, Montgomery Smith and Dhushyanth Viswanath for their exemplary service on the safety committee over the last two years. Their effort and input in the safety committee work helped increase the safety culture in our School! They will continue to serve on the safety committee this summer and help as needed with training/initiating the new members.

Catherine Vincent, who was the GSO safety representative on the committee from January 2023, will continue in this role in the 2023-24 academic year; we look forward to continuing to work with her over the next year.
