The donation process takes less than an hour. It is recommended that donors have a light snack before donating. Most people are eligible to donate. There are very few causes
for deferral and very few medications that are not acceptable. Not sure if you are eligible to donate? Email
Eligibility. Indiana Blood Center must see 550 individuals each and every day to ensure hospital patients near and far have more tomorrows and brighter futures.

I’m sending you a few materials to help get donor appointments for next Wednesday’s blood drive. There’s a printable flyer, which can also be shared electronically, as well as an email message below (just
copy & paste content into new message – text can be edited). I also included a printable appointment sheet; we have 36 total appointment spots available.
As always, we face a real challenge with the official arrival of summer. With most students out and families observing summer schedules, keeping blood inventories stabilized is an uphill climb from May-August.
We need solid participation at drives to ensure adequate supplies are available to the patients that need them.
