Dear Colleagues,

 

I am absolutely delighted to inform that Nick Delgass will receive the 2012 AIChE R.H. Wilhelm Award in Chemical Reaction Engineering.  The Wilhelm Award is among the few so-called Institute Awards.  Nick will receive the award at the AIChE Annual Meeting to be held in Pittsburgh during October 28 - November 2, 2012.

 

The award is for Nick’s distinguished and sustained contributions to the field of Chemical Reaction Engineering.  His citation reads:

“For fundamental advances in the understanding and engineering of catalysts through pioneering contributions in techniques for catalyst characterization, reaction and catalyst chemistry, and catalyst design.”
