Dear Colleagues,

At the recommendation of the Staff Awards Committee last year, and with enthusiastic endorsement from Dean Jamieson and myself, I am pleased to inform you of a new recognition process  for our CoE Staff Awards.  Rather than naming the recipient in each award category now, we are announcing the 3 finalists. The actual award recipient will be announced at the Staff Awards Banquet on November 7.  Only the Team Award will remain the same so that we will recognize one team among all nominations.

This change allows us to recognize more of the outstanding and deserving staff members who are nominated each year and to add some element of surprise to the actual awards banquet.
