Police search campus area for missing mother of student

 

Purdue University Police are searching for a woman who had been visiting her son on campus and was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

 

Jinhua Liu, 52, is 4 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 100 pounds, has black hair, and may be wearing a black puffy down coat. She had been staying with her son, a student, at the Purdue Village apartments. No foul play is suspected.

 

Police are searching the campus and surrounding areas and ask the university's building deputies to check their facilities. Anyone with information should contact police at 765-494-8221.
