Honoring our Faculty and Alumni receiving AIChE Awards in 2012:

 

Dr. W. Nicholas Delgass, Maxine Spencer Nichols Professor Emeritus – 2012 R.H. Wilhelm Award in Chemical Reaction Engineering. The award is for Professor Delgass' distinguished and sustained contributions to the field of Chemical Reaction Engineering.

 

Dr. James Litster, Professor – 2012 Thomas Baron Award in Fluid-Particle Systems. The award is for seminal and field-defining contributions in the area of particle design and formulation, with particular emphasis on the science and engineering of wet granulation systems.

 

Dr. Gintaras Reklaitis, Burton & Kathryn Gedge Distinguished Professor2012 Van Antwerpen Award, which recognizes a chemical engineer for outstanding contributions and service to the Institute. 

 

Dr. Donald Miller (Ph.D.’94) – 2012 Industrial R&D Award.  The award is for outstanding achievement in the industrial practice of chemical engineering toward the successful development and commercialization of pharmaceutical and biomedical products.

 

Dr. E. Terry Papoutsakis (Ph.D. ’79, M.S. ‘76) – 2012 James E. Bailey Award.  This award is presented to an individual who has had an important impact on bioengineering and whose achievements have advanced the profession.
