The Purdue Engineering Student Council would like to personally invite the Purdue Faculty and staff to bring their kids to IDEAS 2011. This engineering based event will take place on Purdue’s campus in EE 129 Saturday, April 2nd. IDEAS targets 4th and 5th grade students and introduces them to the exciting world of engineering. Students will learn about the different engineering disciplines through fun, hands-on, interactive engineering activities. This year kids will learn about earthquakes, model rockets, freezing soap bubbles and making silly putty. The best part about IDEAS, its entirely FREE! The event includes LUNCH and a T-SHIRT. IDEAS is from 9:00am to 2:30pm. Registration will be open online until Saturday, March 26th. Don’t miss out on the chance to have your child explore the exciting world of engineering.
