Hello Everyone,

The Chemical Engineering Safety Committee is accepting nominations for the 2025 ChE Excellence in Safety Award. Please find attached the nomination form, award description and details on eligibility and selection criteria.

Eligibility: Any ChE graduate student who completed one year of graduate studies in our School at the nomination deadline is eligible for the award. Award recipients are ineligible to be nominated again for this award.

Nomination Process: Any ChE faculty member, staff, postdoc, graduate or undergraduate student performing research can nominate any eligible ChE graduate student. A nominator can support only one candidate. Please submit your nominations to Robin Waling at rwaling@purdue.edu, by 11:59 pm on Friday, April 4, 2025. Nominations should not exceed 250 words (please use the attached template) and should include specific examples.

Due Date for nominations: April 4, 2025 by the end of day.

Selection: The selection will be made by the ChE Excellence in Safety Award Committee, and the Graduate Awards Committee and the award winner will be announced to the School during the ChE Faculty/Staff/Grad Student appreciation reception.
