Dear Colleagues,

After serving since July 1, 2012 as our School's Director of Graduate Studies (DGS), Prof. Mike Harris recently requested relief from this service, to devote more time to his College-level administrative duties, teaching and research.  Reluctantly, I accepted his request.  On behalf of our School's faculty, staff and graduate students, I express deep gratitude to Mike for his outstanding service in this role. 

Simultaneously, I am pleased to inform that effective July 1, Prof. John Morgan has accepted to become our School's DGS.  In this role, he will advise the graduate students and oversee the operations of the graduate office.  I am grateful that John has accepted this position of leadership and service.
