Hello Everyone,

The ChE GSO is hosting a Thanksgiving - Food and Clothing Drive. Boxes will be placed in the FRNY atrium starting tomorrow (Nov 2) and they will be left there till Nov 9. Contributions can be made at any time according to your convenience. 

The FOOD ITEMS will be donated to Food Finders Food Bank in Lafayette. You can find more information on them here. Any shelf stable food that won't perish for at least another month and does not need special storage conditions would be ideal. (Like canned fruits/veggies/beans, pasta, rice, oats, cereal, Nut butter etc). We could take produce that have a long shelf life like onions/potatoes. But it would be appreciated if they were donated closer to Nov 9. 

Note: Food Finders do not give out any type of dessert items

All CLOTHING ITEMS will be donated to Salvation Army or Goodwill. More information about their cause here and here. Any Clothing item except undergarments that is decent, washed and clean can be donated. (Casual/formal wear, winter jackets, sheets etc).
