This is a reminder that the performance evaluations are due at the end of this month. There is a very high likelihood that there will be raises this year, thus we need to have an evaluation done for each staff member.

 

If you are a staff member and your evaluation has not been started yet, please let me know.

Dear Colleagues,

 

It is the time to start a new round of performance evaluations for our staff. This year we will use again the online tool provided by the College of Engineering, which can be accessed at

https://engineering.purdue.edu/PRS2.  

 

The tool has been significantly improved and streamlined since the 2010 evaluations and is much easier to use than last year. I attach a list of all the staff members and their supervisors. I encourage all supervisors to start the evaluations this month and complete them by meeting with the staff members by March 31, 2011.

 

Although it is not clear that there will be raises in 2011, the School head needs to receive from the supervisor for each supervisee a summary of the performance evaluation including:

·         accomplishments since the last evaluation

·         areas for improvement

·         professional development activities planned for the upcoming year.

This can be the same summary that is printed from the performance review system.
