Hello Everyone!

It is now time to complete the online annual safety refresher training, which is required for our School’s ISP recertification with EHS.

The training is required for all ChE faculty, staff, graduate students, post-doctoral researchers and visiting researchers/scholars, regardless of when they joined the School. The process of completing the safety refresher training was recently streamlined, and the additional step of logging the completion of training was eliminated.

Please follow the instructions below and complete the required safety refresher training by the end of Friday, March 1, 2024.

Instructions:

1. Before starting the refresher training:
• Review the Building Emergency Plan (BEP) for FRNY Building
• Complete the Lab Specific Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) training by reviewing your lab’s CHP and all relevant SOPs (if applicable).
2. Complete your ChE Specific Annual Safety Refresher Training . The link to the training is also available on the ChE safety website https://engineering.purdue.edu/ChE/aboutus/safety, under Training/ChE Annual Safety Refresher Training.
3. Once you completed the training you will receive an email confirming this. Keep this email safe, for your records.

Please complete the ChE mandatory safety refresher training by the end of Friday, March 1, 2024.
