Dear ChE Community,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you all that our colleague Melissa Schwartz has experienced the loss of her husband, Kenny Schwartz, who passed away suddenly yesterday. Kenny was a part of our Purdue community and worked as a Birck
engineering staff member. Melissa appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers for her and her family during this stressful time.
I shall provide an update once I receive any information on what the family plans for arrangements. Thus far our School plans to have a card in the main office and will also be accepting voluntary donations for the Schwartz’s family if
it is within your desire. We will be sure to notify everyone once these plans are implemented and ready.
