On behalf of the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering, I am pleased to invite you to a reception honoring Rao S. “GS” Govindaraju, Bowen Engineering Head of Civil Engineering and the Christopher B. and Susan S. Burke Distinguished Professor.

GS has led the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering since 2012, guiding it to new heights in research, innovation, and global recognition. Under his leadership, the School has strengthened its academic programs, expanded interdisciplinary collaborations, and enhanced its reputation as one of the nation’s top civil engineering programs. His visionary approach and commitment to excellence have left a lasting impact on students, faculty, and the broader engineering community.
