Dear CE Undergraduate Students,

Dr. Behzad Esmaeili’s lab in the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University is currently seeking undergraduate research assistants to support an ongoing data analysis project related to VR-based experiments on human-cobot interaction in futuristic construction environments.

This is a paid, hourly position, expected to be completed before the start of the Fall 2025 semester. It offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on research experience and collaborate directly with graduate researchers.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with sorting and organizing both qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., survey responses and physiological sensor data)
• Collaborating with graduate students on data analysis tasks
• Expected to work approximately 3–4 hours per day
