The Purdue ITE Chapter is pleased to invite the CCE community to attend a transportation seminar featuring Dr. Felipe Aros-Vera, Associate Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) and Director of the Center for Advanced Systems and Transportation Logistics Engineering (CASTLE) at Ohio University. He will present his research on:
An Integrated Framework to Investigate and Interdict Human Trafficking Networks.
His research uses network modeling and optimization to design interdiction strategies and analyze the resilience of transportation and other critical infrastructure networks, and statistical analysis (econometric
models and AI-based algorithms) to identify and quantify key variables that influence the risk of human trafficking at the country and state levels.
