On behalf of the CCE Staff Awards Committee, I am writing to request nominations for both the
CCE Outstanding Staff Award and the Mary Ann Zimmerman Purdue Civil Engineering Innovation Award.
Nominations are due to Julie Jesiek (jjesiek@purdue.edu) on October 15, 2025
by the end of the day. More information is provided below.

CCE Outstanding Staff Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize, encourage, and promote outstanding Staff in the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering.
The award is open to all administrative, professional, and clerical staff in the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering with at least a half-time appointment and at least three years of continuous service
to the School. The award may not be given to the same individual more than once in a three-year period. The nominee must be an employee of the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering at the time of nomination. The awardee is expected to remain an
employee of LSCCE until presentation of the award at the annual ceremony except for special cases such as retirement.

Mary Ann Zimmerman Purdue Civil Engineering Innovation Award
The Mary Ann Zimmerman Purdue Civil Engineering Innovation Award was initiated to recognize, encourage, and promote creative thinking and outreach. It is awarded to an individual to encourage and support civil
and construction engineering innovations that further the School's progress through education, research, conferences, or other outreach activities. All full-time faculty, staff and students are eligible. The award includes $1000 to be used for the innovative
activity for which the award was given. The recipient is selected by the CCE Staff Awards Committee based on nominations and supporting letters.
