Dear Civil and Construction Engineering Students:
I am writing to tell you of the heartbreaking news of the passing of Cameron Sible, an undergraduate student member of our school. We are so sorry that Cameron is no longer among us.
We know that grief and distress can show up differently for each person. The loss of a loved one, friend, and classmate can affect us in different ways over time. We want to share with you the support and
resources available to you in-person, online, via app, or over the phone, now and whenever you may need help. Please consider using them even if you are away from campus during the summer. These resources are available year-round.
Whether you knew Cameron personally or were impacted by the news in other ways, please remember that you are not expected to navigate these difficult times or cope with grief alone, and that personal support
is available. If you are not feeling well, overwhelmed with sorrow at unexpected moments, losing concentration or otherwise unable to function, we encourage you to please reach out to the resources below, your academic advisor, or our school administration
so that we may support you.
