We are now taking nominations for Outstanding Undergraduate student award in the Civil Engineering major given to a graduating senior with the following criteria:

Criteria for selection is listed in order of importance:

• Service to Purdue (to the College of Engineering, CE, or the university as a whole);

• Service to Community (volunteer work, community projects, etc.);
• Service Character (willingness to serve, positive attitude, helpful and enjoyable);
• Organizational Involvement (student organizations and clubs, honor societies and organizations, departmental organizations, etc.);
• Technical Achievements (patents, publications, research work, technical awards, coops/internships, etc.);
• Academic Achievements (honors, awards, teaching assistant, etc.);

Here is a list of students graduating with at least a 3.0 GPA.  To nominate a student please send me (jjesiek@purdue.edu) the name(s) and the reason(s) you are nominating the student.  If you have a copy of their resumes please include that with your nomination (not required but helpful)..
