The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars invites you to share your research story through our annual science communication competitions!

 

Three Minute Thesis (3MT)

This is a fast-paced competition that challenges students and scholars to effectively communicate their years of research with a short three-minute presentation using only one slide. Prizes for this competition will be given to the first place ($5,000), second place ($3,000), and the people’s choice winner ($2,000).

Say it in 6

Say It In 6 is a competition that challenges you to tell a story about your graduate or postdoctoral research experience — in a clear, concise, and, most importantly, creative way — by using only six words and one visual aid.

Prizes for this competition will be given to the first place ($1,000), second place ($500), and the people’s choice winner ($500).
