Dear all: The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is recruiting tenure-track Assistant Professors across a broad spectrum of civil and environmental engineering areas. These include, but are not limited to, climate change adaptation, smart and digital construction, modular and automated construction, coastal infrastructure protection, environmental engineering, sustainable urban systems, autonomous and robotic technologies, life cycle analysis and circular economy, and geotechnical engineering. We will be hosting a recruitment sharing session on 14 April 2026 (Tuesday), 1 pm to 2:30 pm at ARMS B061 (please refer to the attached flyer for details). You are warmly invited to attend the session to learn more about opportunities at NUS CEE. Interested candidates are encouraged to email their CVs in advance (to ceeongr@nus.edu.sg<mailto:ceeongr@nus.edu.sg>) so that we may arrange informal discussions during the visit. CEE at NUS is one of the leading programmes in Asia, with a strong and diverse faculty spanning civil infrastructure, transportation, water and environmental systems, and urban sustainability. NUS is consistently ranked among the world's top universities, and CEE offers outstanding opportunities with state-of-the-art research facilities and strong interdisciplinary collaboration within the College of Design and Engineering. Faculty benefit from a well-resourced and globally connected research environment, closely linked to Singapore's role as a living laboratory for urban solutions. English is the medium of teaching, research, and administration, and the academic system is broadly aligned with international (particularly North American) practices. NUS CEE provides a highly collaborative and well-supported environment for early-career faculty, with competitive start-up packages, access to advanced research infrastructure, and strong partnerships with government and industry in areas such as resilient infrastructure, smart cities, and sustainability. I would be glad to share more about the department, ongoing research initiatives, and career opportunities at NUS. I look forward to connecting with you.
