Subject: CoE Outstanding Service Scholarship Nominations

 

Hello CCE Faculty and Grad Students,

 

The College of Engineering awards an Outstanding Service Scholarship of $2,000 to a graduate student in each school who has provided outstanding service to the graduate student community, the School, the College, and/or the University.  Each school is asked to nominate one candidate for the Outstanding Service Scholarship.  The Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering is taking nominations for the CCE Scholarship.  The Grad Committee will rank our nominations and send our top student on to the College.  Nominations are due to Jenny Ricksy (jricksy@purdue.edu) by 8:00 am Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

 

Nominees should meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Be pursuing a graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering
  2. Be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0, with a higher GPA preferred
  3. Have completed at least one full calendar year in the graduate program at the time of the nomination
  4. Have contributed, over time, to the quality, reputation, or success of the graduate student community, School, College, and/or University

 

Nominations should consist of a letter (max two-pages) from the nominator that includes factual information showing that the student meets the 4 criteria listed above and a copy of the students resume/CV as one pdf.
