Dear Students, Postdocs, and Faculty,
The department is planning to upgrade HAMP Room 1268—currently used as the transportation lab and mini-conference room—into a modern Transportation Computational Laboratory. This new facility will better support the evolving research needs of our transportation
graduate community by providing access to high-performance computing systems, specialized transportation software, advanced visualization tools, and collaborative conferencing equipment.
Purdue ITE is assisting the department with this initiative and is distributing this email on its behalf.
To ensure this new lab aligns closely with your priorities and effectively supports your academic and research activities, we kindly ask you to complete a short survey. Your input will guide us in selecting essential software tools, identifying necessary hardware,
and understanding anticipated lab use patterns.
Your feedback is critical to creating a valuable resource for our entire transportation group. Thank you in advance for your time and insights.
Best,
Rishika
