Grad students, Just a reminder that the Professional Development Seminar for the semester will be held today from 5.30-8.30 PM in MRGN 129. Dr. Malcolm Carroll of Sandia National Labs will be discussing his experiences and observations of career paths in national labs, companies, and academia. There will be pizza served and plenty of time for questions. There is also a technical seminar by Dr. Carroll today in Birck 1001 from 3-4.30 PM. He will be discussing his work in quantum computing.
